Tips to Make Extra Money At Christmas

With Christmas near thoughts often turn to finance. Have you considered ways in which you can earn a little extra money at Christmas which might just make all the difference to your enjoyment of the festive seasons. Christmas is traditionally a busy season for us all bit if you are prepared to give it some thought there are lots of ways you can earn extra money at Christmas.

You could take a job part time - restaurants, cafes and stores are all very busy at Christmas. If you live near a college this is even more relevant as students who normally work in the cafes, shops and bars will return home for Christmas. So look for some temporary evening work locally, you will be surprised at what is available for the few weeks leading up to Christmas.

Another way to earn extra money for Christmas is very obvious and will not be liked by all but stay in when you would normally go out, and even better work and be paid when you would normally go out, thereby both earning and saving at the same time. This may be one more for the teenagers but why not consider setting up a babysitting service on New Years Eve? Charge an appropriate rate and ean money when you would normally be spending it.

From delivering Christmas cards to delivering a turkey - there is a lot of opportunity to make extra money at Christmas delivering stuff. A Christmas tree delivery service could be a great idea especially for older people or those without transport. Or a Christmas card delivery service locally within (say) a mile or so radius? There are a great many opportunities delivering items at Christmas.

More and more people love outdoor lighting. If you enjoy electricals, don't mind heights (or the cold) why not offer a Christmas lights installation service?.

You could make Christmas cards and sell them to your friends or save money by sending them. You could extend this to any sort of Christmas craft such as cake making, candles, gift baskets, mince pies

Finally, why not go online and setup a niche store selling Christmas gifts, goods, decorations from eBay or Amazon.  The idea is that you refer a customer to Amazon or eBay through your niche store and you get a commision on the sale.  No stock, no customer service, no processing of orders - this is all done for you through the retailer and as long as you can drive customers to your site you will make money.  You can see an example of such a store at tips for celebrating christmas and read my review of the site building process behind it at successful work at home career
